that's the one i was thinking of as well. it has to be the one you're referring to. there's a very long spacey jam unlike any other HCS that stretches the song to 20 min. this is by fav the longest version i know of.

although 12/19 is definitely the best imo, with 11/14 coming in at #2

Much as I dig that 4/2/73 HCS, there is no better performance of the song than 12/6/73. Shame it didn't make it onto the Road Trips bonus disc...

forgot about 12-06 because i don't have a copy of that show. i still prefer 12/19, but 12/06 is very close and is the jazziest one i've heard. also the finest i've ever heard jerry sing it. i need to listen to it again and i may change my opinion.

12/6, and 12/19/73 are the best performances of this song. currently I prefer 12/19, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who says 12/6 is better. 11/14 is one of the very best, but a close third imho.
